ABOUT THE LOWCOUNTRY OPEN

MISSION STATEMENT

The Lowcountry Open provides a top-quality fishing tournament experience while supporting men and their families in the fight against prostate cancer.

One in eight men and one in five veterans will face a prostate cancer diagnosis in their lifetime.

The Lowcountry Open supports ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer by raising awareness and funding for the fight against prostate cancer.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The Lowcountry Open 2023 will feature Inshore, Kingfish, and Offshore Divisions.

The Lowcountry Open (LCO) is a qualifying tournament for the Palmetto Kingfish Tour (PKT) and a sanctioned tournament in the Southern Kingfish Association (SKA) Division 3.

CAPTAIN’S PARTY

The Lowcountry Open Captain’s Party is also the kickoff for the Palmetto Kingfish Tour.

The party will feature sponsors and vendors with dinner, drinks, and entertainment in a fun and festive atmosphere. This event is a chance for anglers to register, pick up swag, and enter last-minute TWTs.

The Captain’s Party also serves to raise community awareness about prostate cancer and supports the LCO’s charity ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer.

SPONSOR OPPORTUNITIES

The Lowcountry Open is an excellent way for sponsors to get exposure to the angling community in South Carolina.

LCO sponsors have the opportunity to showcase their products and services at the Captain’s party and weigh-in/awards ceremony. In addition, sponsors will get social media exposure through our page with more than 2,400 followers plus regional promotion in the ZERO prostate cancer community.

Join us in 2023 for an action-packed tournament supporting a great cause!
